Fredra Lee Turner Lastinger

Mrs. Fredra Lee Turner Lastinger, age 86, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at her home in Pearson, Ga surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.

A native of Alma, Ga., Mrs. Lastinger was born April 8, l934, daughter of James Fred and Gracie Lee Warnock Turner. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard, mowing, and planting flowers. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended Ozias Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlie Lastinger, Sr., son, Larry Lastinger and granddaughter, Laura Megon White.

             Adam Lastinger of Waycross, Georgia

4 Daughters: Renita Lastinger (Lee) Corbett of Valdosta, Georgia

                       Karlynn Lastinger Barnes (David) of Brunswick, Georgia

                       Celeste Lastinger (Charlie) Bray of Willacoochee, Georgia

                       Arlene Lastinger Crosby of Pearson, Georgia

Grandchildren: Crystal (Tidwell) Carter, Forrest (Summer) Lastinger, Daniel (Danielle) Lastinger, Tracy Ruth Lastinger  Ritch, Paula Horn, Corey (Melanie) Horn, Ryan Lastinger (Whitney), B.J. Great-Grandchildren: Tyler Hulett, Caleb Hulett and Cole Carter, Ciarah, Mya & Destiny Lastinger, Levi, Aiden & Raelynn Lastinger, Alexandria Ritch and Ryland Ritch, Lacey (Tracy) Burnsed – Bailey Kitchings, Rylee Horn, Emery Horn, Garrison, Graham & Ryleigh Lastinger, Arlo Platt, Ivy Bonner, Karlee Heath and Kenzie Heath, Maddox Boatright, Kylee Grace McDaniel, and Brayden, Zayden & Avalyn Lopez.

Great-Great Grandchildren: Mary Ruth Ritch, Christopher Thompson Jr, Maggie Rae Thompson, and Mollie Reece Thompson

A private funeral service for Mrs. Lastinger was held, Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Lastinger Residence with Rev. Larry Johnson and Daniel Lastinger officiating. Special music included “I Love You Lord”, “On The Wings of a Dove” and “In The Garden” rendered by Bonnie Corbitt and Bob Andrews. The interment followed in Red Bluff Cemetery with a special song “Good Moring Jesus” played at the graveside.

Serving as active pallbearers were grandchildren: Forrest Lastinger, Ryan Lastinger, John Boatwright,

Jonathon Guthrie, Daniel Lastinger, Mikell Boatwright, Walker Long, Joshua White and Samuel Lastinger.
