Bobby Hall, Jr.

June 29, 1943 — September 1, 2020

Mr. Bobby Hall, Jr., age 77 of Valdosta, Ga. formerly of Willacoochee, Ga., passed away Monday, September 01, 2020 at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, Ga. following a brief illness.  A native of Willacoochee, Ga., Mr. Hall was born, June 29, 1943, son of Robbie and Mamie Solomon Hall. He had made his home in Valdosta for the past 32 years.  He worked for many years as an electrician, H/AC technician, pulpwood industry and was self employed as a Flea market operator. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He attended the Church of God in Valdosta, Ga. and was a member of the Willacoochee Church of God.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Bobby Hall III, brothers, Horace Gilliard and James Hall, sisters, Mary Jackson, Margaret Benefield, Linda Shealey, Rose Marie Gilliard and Joanne Lynch.

 

 

Survivors include:

Wife: Sandra Evans Hall of Valdosta, Ga.

 

2 Sons:  Benny Hall and wife Sharon of Pearson, Ga.

            Brent Evans and wife Marie of Valdosta, Ga.

 

4 Daughters: Teresa Walker and husband Glenn of Pearson, Ga.

                      Haley Hall of Valdosta, Ga.

                      Tracy Bracewell and Rick Parker of Lake Park, Ga.

                      Dana Hall of Ocilla, Ga.

 

Brother: R.D. Gilliard and wife Rae of Broxton, Ga.

 

3 Sisters: Ruby Nell Slaven of Apopka, Fl.

                 Helen Jewell of Willacoochee, Ga.

                 Pat Hilton and husband Charlie of Ocilla, Ga.

 

2 Brother-In-Laws:  Kelly Dees and wife Dianne of Valdosta, Ga.

                                    Bobby Dees of Valdosta, Ga.

 

12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Hall were held, Saturday, September 05, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Willacoochee City Cemetery in Willacoochee, Ga. with Rev. Mike Paul

officiating.  Special musical selections included, “Consider the Lillies” and “Amazing Grace” rendered by c.d.  The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were Ronnie Moore, Glenn Walker, Ricky Roberts, Allen Horton, James Evan Harper and Brent Evans.  Honorary pallbearers were Scott Shealey and Grady Jewell. 

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
