Wayne Bobby Giddens

Mr. Wayne Bobby Giddens, age 79, of Pearson, Ga., passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at his home in Pearson, Ga.

Survivors Include:

Wife: Virginia Giddens of Pearson, Ga.

3 Sons: Dennis Giddens and wife Paula of Pearson, Ga.

               Josh Giddens of Pearson, Ga.

               Wade Giddens and wife Wendy of Lakeland, Ga.

Daughter: Angie McDonald and husband Don of Willacoochee, Ga.

Brother: Harrell “Poochie” Giddens and wife Nettie of Homerville, Ga.

3 Sisters: Karen Moore of Pearson, Ga.

                  Linda Purvis and husband Raymon of Pearson, Ga.

                  Paula Tanner and husband Floyd of Axson, Ga.

9 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Mr. Giddens is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Daniel and Ethel Cleo Harrell Giddens, 2 sisters, Pat Smith and Henrietta Brown, and brother, Ken Giddens.

Funeral services for Mr. Giddens will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Gilliard and Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
