Suzette Linda Oliver

Mrs. Suzette L. Oliver, age 58 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Friday, December 1, 2023, at her home in Pearson, Ga. following an extended illness.  She was born in Brookeville, Florida on June 27, 1965, the daughter of Jim and Sue Watson Walker.  Mrs. Oliver made her home, for most of her life, in Pearson where she took great pride in caring for and providing for her family.  She worked for many years in the quality control department at Mauser Corporation in Homerville, Ga.  Mrs. Oliver enjoyed shopping, traveling, going to the beach, and camping.  Whether it was playing outside or coloring with her grandchildren, Mrs. Oliver knew those times were special and always dear to her heart.  She loved spending time and making memories with her family, especially during the holidays.  Mrs. Oliver was a member of Grace Community Church of God, where she grew her testimony of the Savior and love for her church family.  Mrs. Oliver was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her daughter, Sue-Helen Oliver; brother, Richard Worth; sister, Amanda Walker, and son-in-law; Reginald McIntyre.  Though her physical body is no longer here, her spirit of love, caring, and kindness will continue in the lives of those she loved. 

 

Survivors include:

 

Husband:  Richard Oliver of Pearson, Ga.

 

2 Daughters:  Amanda Oliver of Douglas, Ga.

                      Wendy Oliver of Pearson, Ga.

                       Savannah Oliver of Pearson, Ga.

 

Son:  Eldridge Williams of Lakeland, Ga.

 

5 Grandchildren:  William D. Touchstone II, Rileigh Touchstone, Suzie Oliver, Shaun Hodges, and Isabella Rainey.

 

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Oliver were held Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Paul Hodge, and Rev. Arthur Hickox officiating. Special musical selections included, “Me and My Jesus”, “Drowning”, and “Dancing in the Sky” rendered by cd.  The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.

 

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Bryan Bruner, William Touchstone, Eldridge Williams, Brandon Crosby, Jay Crosby, Shane Anderson, and Michael Watson. 

 

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
