Leslie Roberts

February 27, 1964 — August 15, 2022

Mrs. Leslie Roberts, age 58 of Axson, Ga. passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.  She was born in Verdun, France on February 27, 1964, the daughter of Russell and Vicki Griffis Phillips.  Mrs. Roberts made her home in Axson, where she took great pride in being a homemaker, as she took care of and raised her family.  She enjoyed going to the beach in St. Augustine, capturing memories and keeping a treasured record of those moments through her love of scrapbooking, and sharing these experiences and learning while teaching her children through homeschooling.  Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death, along with her parents, by 2 sons: Russell and Micah Roberts.

Survivors include:  

Husband:  Ray Roberts of Axson, Ga.

2 Sons:  Brady Roberts of Axson, Ga.

             Bailey Roberts of Axson, Ga.

2 Daughters:  Lerah Roberts of Axson, Ga.

                     Leah Roberts of Axson, Ga.

Sister:  Cathy Lee and husband, Derryl of Axson, Ga.

Several other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Roberts were held, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Walter James and Rev. Stan Clough officiating.  Special musical selections included, “Go Rest High” and “Stroll Over Heaven” rendered by cd, and “Never Alone” sang by those in attendance, led by Sylvia James with Patricia Corbitt at the piano.  Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was provided by pianist, Patricia Corbitt.  The interment followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

 Serving as active pallbearers were:  Brady Roberts, Bailey Roberts, Justin McClellan, Justin Brown, Randall McKinnon, and Ryan Thurston.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
