Sandra T. Pittman

Mrs. Sandra T. Pittman, age 88, of Axson, Ga., passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her home following an extended illness.

Survivors Include:

3 Sons: Kenn Pittman and wife Lynn of Dewey Rose, Ga.

 Kipp Pittman and wife Shirley Rose of Salem, Al.

 Lee Pittman and wife Lavonda of Willacoochee, Ga.

7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Pittman is preceded in death by her parents, Leon “Zeke” and Colleen Clement Tanner, husband, Joe Travis Pittman, sister, Ruby Swindle, and 2 brothers, Johnny and Jesse Edward Tanner.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pittman will be held on Monday, February 02, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Axson, Ga. with Rev. Walter James and Rev. Roland Mitchell officiating. The interment will follow in Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Pittman will be held on Sunday, February 01, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pittman will lie in state at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Monday, February 02, 2026 from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.
