Roy Lee Wilkerson

Mr. Roy Lee Wilkerson, age 48 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away, Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. 

Born July 18, l972, in Douglas, Ga., Roy Lee was the son of Roy Wilkerson and Joyce Stephens Wilkerson. He made his home in Willacoochee, was a graduate of Atkinson County High School and worked for Tucker Farms.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandson, Jace.  He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Wilkerson.

Survivors include:

Daughter:  Shea Wilkerson Corbitt and husband Gage of Willacoochee, Ga.

Mother:  Joyce Stephens Wilkerson of Douglas, Ga.

Brother:  Shawn Wilkerson of Douglas, Ga.

Grandson:  Jace Corbitt

Several other relatives also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Wilkerson were held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Mora Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Stone officiating. Special music included “Go Rest on That Mountain” and “Where I Find God” presented by cd.  The interment followed in Mora Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were, Cody Wise, Dan Wise, Kelly Morris, Alec Waldron, Billy Courson, and

Jose Martinez.  Honorary pallbearers were, Lee Lewis, Mike Tucker, Mark Tucker and John Lindsey.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
