Roy McDonald

Mr. Roy McDonald, age 67, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday afternoon, May 3, 2020, at his home following a short illness. 

Born July 24, l952, in Douglas, Ga., Mr. McDonald was the son of the late Peter Loyd and Evelyn Elouise Brown McDonald. He had made his home in the Kirkland community his entire life and was a self-employed brick mason and of the Catholic Faith. He was an Atkinson County High School Graduate and was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. In Addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue McDonald and a son, Roy David Saul McDonald.

Survivors include:

2 Sons:  Simon McDonald and wife, Carmen of Pearson, Ga.

             Matthew McDonald of Pearson, Ga.

Brother:  Lloyd McDonald and wife, Elaine of Pearson, Ga.

Sister:  Elaine Stodghill and husband, Donald of Alapaha, Ga.

4 Granddaughters:  Laura Elizabeth McDonald, Emelyn Scarlett McDonald, Brooklyn Faith Rowland, and Victoria Elizabeth Quinonez.

2 Great-Grandchildren:  Karley Claire Graham and Logan Michael Graham

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Memorialization is by cremation. 

A Memorial of Remembrance for Mr. Roy McDonald will be held at a later time.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
