Mr. Roy Combs, age 89, of Millwood, Ga. passed away peacefully on Friday, August 08, 2025 at his home in Millwood, Ga..

Survivors Include

Wife: Hazel Carter Combs of Millwood, Ga.

Son: Michael Medders and wife Ruby of Valdosta, Ga.

2 Daughters: Susan Williams and husband Jef of St. Mary’s, Ga.

                      Cheryl Stubbs of Yulee, Fl.

2 Sisters: Judy Nettles and husband Shorty of Douglas, Ga.

                 Alva mason of Waycross, Ga.

13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Mr. Combs is preceded in death by his parents, George Combs and Alma Burney, son, Gene Combs, brother, Robert Combs, and 4 sisters, Juanita Pittman, Luvelle Bennett, Sue Gray, and Vonice Wilson.

Funeral services for Mr. Combs will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Indian Mound Baptist Church in Millwood, Ga. with Rev. Clayton Davis officiating. The interment will follow in Hargraves Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Combs will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Indian Mound Baptist Church from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Combs will lie in state at Indian Mound Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
