OBITUARY                                                                                                                                        ROSA BASS

 

Mrs. Rosa Bass, age 68, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following a short illness. 

A native of Homerville, Ga., Mrs. Bass was born May 11, 1950, daughter of William Alfred and Rosa Lee Taylor Corbitt. She had made her home in Atkinson County for the past 22 years and was a homemaker. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, making blankets and working puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Bass, Sr. and a brother, Timothy John Corbitt.

Survivors include:

Son:  Lloyd Bass, Jr. and wife, Stacey of Pearson, Ga.

5 Brothers:  William Henry Corbitt and wife, Darlene of Valdosta, Ga.

                  Bobby Corbitt and wife, Margie of Pearson, Ga.

                  Calvin Corbitt and wife, Suzette of Live Oak, Fla.

                  Larry Corbitt of Lakeland, Fla.

                  Tony Corbitt and wife, Sarah of Pearson, Ga. 

 

6 Sisters:  Lou Corbitt of Jesup, Ga.

                Libby Hopkins and husband John of White Springs, Fla.

                Betty May and husband, Frank of Pearson, Ga.

                Marion Henderson and husband, Danny of Homerville, Ga.

                Colleen Griffis and husband, Jess of Pearson, Ga.

                Velda Stone and husband, Jackie of Pearson, Ga.

 

3 Grandchildren:  Dakoda Bass, Jagger Bass, and River Bass.

Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives survive.

Memorial services for Mrs. Bass will be held at a later date.

Memorialization is by cremation.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
