Mr. Ronald Edwin “Trigger” Moore, age 75, of Douglas, Ga., passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga.
Born August 18, 1950 in Fitzgerald, Ga. Mr. Moore lived most of his life in the Atkinson and Coffee County areas. Mr. Moore had a warm and engaging personality; Trigger was a true people person who thoroughly enjoyed talking with others; he never met a stranger. His ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life left a lasting impression on those who he encountered. Mr. Moore worked many jobs throughout the years including Relihan Funeral Home and Sims Funeral Home. Later he started his own business and was owner/operator of Moore’s Transport for many years until retirement. After retirement he continued to stay busy by working with Foskey’s Auto and Advanced Auto Parts as a delivery driver. He was veteran of the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Lillie Crosby Denby and Randall Denby, and brother, Waylon Moore.
Survivors Include:
Wife: Ivalene Moore of Douglas, Ga.
Son: Shawn Moore and wife Apahril of Clackamas, Or.
Stepdaughter: Suzanne Anderson of Douglas, Ga.
2 Brothers: Charles Moore and wife Nina of Douglas, Ga.
Randy Denby and wife Beth of Willacoochee, Ga.
Special Nephew: Brad Taylor of Alma, Ga.
Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Memorialization was by cremation.
Services for Mr. Moore will be announced at a later date.
Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
