Ricky Luel Carter

Mr. Ricky Luel Carter, age 62, of Pearson, Ga., passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025, at his home in Pearson, Ga. following a brief illness.

Mr. Carter was born on October 28, 1963, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Jesse Preston and Helen Patricia Tanner Carter. He lived in Pearson, Ga. and was a member of Beaulah Church. Mr. Carter was a self-employed farmer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, fellowship and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors Include:

Wife: Terri Smith of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sons: Carrol Carter and fiancé Amy Duddy of Fitzgerald, Ga.

               Nathan Carter and wife Allison of Willacoochee, Ga.

Brother: Rodney Carter and wife Ola of Waycross, Ga.

2 Grandchildren: Cameron Carter and Clayton Jesse Carter

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Graveside Services for Mr. Carter were held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Willacoochee City Cemetery in Willacoochee, Ga. with Rev. Rodney Carter and Rev. William Pope. officiating. Special music included “Amazing Grace” presented by cd. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
