Ralph Massey

Mr. Ralph Massey, age 85, of Axson, Ga. passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Vista Park in Douglas, Ga.

A native of Land O’Lakes, Fl., Mr. Massey was born May14, l939, son of David and Leta Harnage Massey. He had made his home here in Atkinson County for the past 35 years and worked for many years at Walmart Distribution Center in Douglas, Ga. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, loved hunting and fishing and was a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Roberta Beaty Massey.

4 Daughters: Gina Stephens (Tommie) of Wadley, Fl.

                      Diane Leggett (Bennie) of Waycross, Ga.

                      Trish Germaine (Bruce) of Toledo, Oh.

                      Dominique Jefferson (Thomas) of Ellaville, Ga.

Brother: Edward Massey of Morganton, N.C.

7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. Massey were held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Memorialization is by cremation.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
