Paul Jewell

Mr. Paul Jewell, age 75, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away, Monday, September 2, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. 

A native of Willacoochee, Ga. Mr. Jewell was born, April 14, 1944, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Millian Summerlin Jewell. He was a self-employed cabinet builder and in his spare time he loved to fish.

Survivors include:

Wife:  Helen Hall Jewell of Willacoochee, Ga.

Son:  Robbie Jewell and wife, Shannon of Willacoochee, Ga.

Daughter:  Paula Thomas and husband, Joey of Douglas, Ga.

Good Friends:  Sabra Roberts of Willacoochee, Ga.

                      Harry and Kay Brown of Willacoochee, Ga.

4 Sisters:  Elaine Jewell of Fitzgerald, Ga.

                Cassandra Troupe of Nashville, Ga.

                Charlotte Stone of Nashville, Ga.

                Gloria Heath of Nashville, Ga.

3 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild and several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jewell were held, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Willacoochee United Methodist Church with Rev. Lauri Hartley officiating.  Special musical selections included, “Go Rest High on that Mountain” and “Daddy’s Hands” rendered by CD and “Amazing Grace” rendered by the attending congregation with Beth Paulk accompanying at the piano. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was by Beth Paulk, pianist. Then interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were, Shane Busbee, Dwayne Branch, Joshua Branch, Donny Stone, Johnny Murray and Marcus Williams.
