Patricia "Trish" Lee Tanner

Mrs. Patricia “Trish” Lee Tanner, age 53 years old of Pearson, Ga., passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga., following a short illness.  She was born in Waycross, Ga. on March 6, 1969, daughter of Franklin D. Carter and Edna Levan Bailey Storey.  Living in the Pearson area for the last 28 years, Trish was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, taking road trips, going to yard sales, but most of all, spending time and making memories with her friends and family.  She attended Willacoochee Church of God and was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include:

Husband:  Derrick Tanner of Pearson, Ga.

Daughter:  Brittany Nicole Fredericks of Valdosta, Ga.

Son: James Brock Fredericks of Pearson, Ga.

2 Brothers: Dennis Franklin Carter and wife Elaine of Blackshear, Ga.

                   Daryl Eugene Carter and wife Brenda of Blackshear, Ga

3 Grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.

Graveside services for Mrs. Tanner were held, Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Utah Cemetery in Axson, Ga. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Clint Ledford officiating.  Special musical selections included, "Waymaker", "I Can Only Imagine", and "Go Rest High on That Mountain" all rendered by cd.  The interment followed in Utah Cemetery. 

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Tim Conger, Billy Purvis, Tray Merritt, Rodney Blankinship, Jessie Mancil, and Russell Hurlbert.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were:  Caleb Chastain and Dalton Weather.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
