Mr. Orville Duaine Miller, age 66, of Douglas, Ga. passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga.
Born April 28, 1958, in Broxton, Ga., Mr. Miller was the son of the late Orville Winston and Pauline Lott Miller. Mr. Miller made his home in Douglas, Ga., where he owned and operated Miller Trucking Company. He attended First Congregational Christian Church and enjoyed tinkering, working, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, William Miller, sister, Betty Sue Gowan, and 2 brothers, Jimmy Miller and Keith Miller
Survivors include:
Wife: Peggy O’Neal Miller of Douglas, Ga.
2 Sons: Brandon De Miller and wife Sandy of Rincon, Ga.
Ashton O’Neal Miller of Douglas, Ga.
2 Brothers: Charles Henry Miller and wife Diane of Douglas, Ga.
Donald Wade Miller of Douglas, Ga.
Sister: Paula Lott and husband Timmy of Pridgen, Ga.
Granddaughter: Caroline Parker Miller of Rincon, Ga.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller were held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Matt Rutland and Bro. Mike Gowan officiating. Special music included “Long Black Train”, “Roll On 18 Wheeler”, and “How Deep Is Your Love”. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery with special music “Amazing Grace” by attending congregation and dedication of the grave by Bro. Mike Gowan.
Serving as active pallbearers were: Jonathan Stinson, Jimmy Kitchens, Jeremy Stinson, Richard Butler, Lee McGovern, Logan McGovern, Mark Whalen, and Kyle Lott.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
