Jimmie Davis O'Neal

Mrs. Jimmie Larelle Davis O'Neal, age 77, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away, Friday, September 14, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family and loved ones, following an extended illness.

A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. O’Neal was born in Kirkland, Ga. on November l5, l940, daughter of the late Callis and Janie Newmans Davis. She worked for many years managing a convenience store. She loved the outdoors, reading and crocheting. Her church membership was at the Willacoochee Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Buddy O’Neal and a brother, Callis Leroy Davis, Jr..

Husband:  J.W. "Bud" O'Neal of Willacoochee, Ga.
 
1 Son:  Stevie O'Neal of Willacoochee, Ga.

1 Daughter:  Evie Mixon of Willacoochee, Ga.

1 Sister:  Jean Hile of Jacksonville, Fla.

3 Grandchildren:  Jennifer Thomas and husband, Antwan

4 Step-Grandchildren:  Nicole Spivey

Funeral services for Mrs. O'Neal were held, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Willacoochee Church of God with Rev. Lance Taylor and Rev. Charles Blair officiating. Special musical selections included, “How Great Thou Art”, “Precious Memories” and “Look For Me” rendered by CD. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was by CD.  Interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were: Shannon Mitchell, Raymond Mitchell, Markus Mitchell, Randy Hile, Brandon Miller, Ott Luke and Lee Pittman. 

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
