Nancy Roberta Massey

Mrs. Nancy Roberta Beaty Massey, age 79 years old of Axson, Ga., passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Vista Park in Douglas, Ga., following an extended illness.

Born February l, 1944, in Richland, Fl., Mrs. Massey was the daughter of Paul and Dolores Richardson Beaty. She and her husband Ralph had made their home in Atkinson County for many years, where they served as foster parents.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed church activities, working in her garden and hummingbirds.  She was a member of the Douglas Seventh Day Adventist Church.

4 Daughters:  Gina Stephens and husband Tommie of Zephry Hills, Fl., Diane Leggett and husband Bennie of Axson, Ga., Trish Germaine and husband, Bruce of Toledo, Oh., Dominique Jefferson and husband, Thomas of Ellaville, Ga. Brother:  Harry Beaty of Australia Sister:  Jane Anderson of Kennesaw, Ga.  7 grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.  Memorialization was by cremation. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
