Marta Rita Lewis

Ms. Marta Rita Lewis, age 49 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away, Friday, December 20, 2019 at her home in Willacoochee, Ga.

Ms. Lewis was born January l5, l970 in Douglas, Ga., daughter of Delphia Mae Moody. She had made her home in Pearson, Ga. for most of her life. She enjoyed drinking coffee, reading, traveling, working puzzles, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include:

2 Daughters: Erica Goodman and husband Scott of Ocilla, Ga.

                        Jessica Dalton of Douglas, Ga.

Mother: Delphia Mae Moody of Pearson, Ga.

Brother: Chad Moody and wife Dene of Pearson, Ga.

3 Grandchildren: Jayda Goodman, Chloe Goodman, and Caden Dalton.

Several other relatives also survive.

Memorial Services for Ms. Lewis were held, Friday, December 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. David Smith officiating. Special musical selections included “Angel Band”, “Keep on The Sunnyside”, Go Rest High on That Mountain”, “In My Daughters Eyes”, and “I’ll Fly Away” rendered by cd.

Memorialization was by cremation.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
