Mrs. Lucy Jane Adams Fulmer, age 85, of Douglas, Ga., passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at her residence in Douglas, Ga. following a brief illness.

Mrs. Fulmer was born on November 10, 1940, in Atkinson County, to the late Clinton and Gertie Sears Adams. Mrs. Fulmer had made her in Douglasville, Ga. for many years before moving to Douglas, Ga. in 20l9. She was of the Christian Faith and was a retired Credit Union Manager. Mrs. Fulmer enjoyed gardening and taking care of her rose bushes. Along with her parents, Mrs. Fulmer was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Fulmer, 2 sons, Paul and Timothy Fulmer, sister, Eloise Davis, brother Spence Adams, and lifelong friend, Connie Slate.

Survivors Include:

5 Grandchildren, Christine Padilla, Kimberly Fulmer, Venice Morfi8eld and husband William, Jackie Fulmer and John Coleman.

Brother: Denzel Adams of Pearson, Ga.

Special Nieces: Denise Garrett, Missy Bennett, and Diane Sweat

Life Long Best Friend: Dana Self of Tyrone, Ga.

Beloved Pet: Tilley

Several Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fulmer were held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Mr. Trampas Adams officiating. Special music included “Go Rest High On That Mountain” presented by cd. The interment followed at the Axson Cemetery with special music “Amazing Grace” presented by cd.

Active Pallbearers included: Lamar Davis, Larry Garrett, Steve Adams, Edgar Martinez, Mark Davis, and Jerome Burch.

Honorary Pallbearers included: Wilma Hulsey, Leslie Mizell, Lisa Gruszka, and employees from Coastal Hospice.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
