Lowanda S. Musgrove

Mrs. Lowanda S. Musgrove, age 55, of Brunswick, Ga., formerly of Atkinson County, passed away Monday, December 01, 2025, at South Georgia Health System Hospital in Brunswick, Ga.

Mrs. Musgrove was born on November 11, 1970, in Nashville, Ga., to the late Bobby Stone, Sr. and Lou Deen Bowen. She worked in Food Services for the Glynn County School System and attended Mt. Green Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, yard work, being outdoors and spending time with family. Along with her parents, Mrs. Musgrove is preceded in death by her brother, Jerome Stone.

Husband: James’s “Buddy” Musgrove of Brunswick, Ga.

2 Sons: Scott McDermitt and wife Sherry of Dublin, Ga.

               David Musgrove of Brunswick, Ga.

2 Brothers: Bobby Stone, Jr. and wife Becky of Brunswick, Ga.

                     Jeffery Stone and Tammy Whiddon of Ray City, Ga.

Sister: Yolanda Harrison and husband Steve of Brunswick, Ga.

6 Grandchildren: Callie Conaway, Brantlee McArthur, Landan Musgrove, Hayden McDermitt, Bentley McDermitt, and Waylon McDermitt

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Musgrove were held on Thursday, December 04, 2025 at Mt. Green Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Chester Musgrove, Rev. Tony Musgrove, and Rev. Hunter Thomas officiating. Special Music included “My Bestfriend”, “Going Home”, and “Theres the Sun” presented by cd. The interment followed in Mt. Green Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers included: Shaun Coleman, Shane Coleman, Damian Stone, T.J. Musgrove, Joey Morgan, and Brandon Musgrove.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
