Mrs. Jean Joiner age 7l, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Thursday, December 12, 20l9 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.   Born May 9, l948, in Nashville, Ga., Mrs. Joiner was the daughter of the late John and Stella Harrell Luke. She had made her home in Willacoochee, Ga. most of her life and was a member of Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and in her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She worked for many years as a seamstress in the garment industry. Survivors include: Husband: Bobby Joiner of Willacoochee, Ga. 1 Son: Michael Joiner and wife Carmen of Willacoochee, Ga. 3 Daughters: Janet Crews and husband Terry of Willacoochee, Ga.                        Connie Joiner of Willacoochee, Ga.                        Amy Westberry and husband Kevin of Ludowici, Ga. 1 Brother: Melvin Luke of Alexandria, Al. 3 Sisters: Geneva Kirkland and husband Buddy of Sevierville, Tenn.                  Martha Vasquez of Willacoochee, Ga.                  Doris Guthrie and husband Sammy of Pearson, Ga. 19 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Joiner were held at 1 P. M. Sunday at the Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. David Rowe and Rev. Russell Joiner officiating. Special music included, “Precious Lord” and “Handful of Weeds” rendered by Kayla Owens accompanied by Joshua Griffis, guitar and Michael Johnson, pianist and “Robe” and “Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me” was rendered by Betty Joiner accompanied by Joshua Griffis, guitar and Michael Johnson, pianist. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was played by Michael Johnson, pianist. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.   Serving as active pallbearers were: Bobby Westberry, Chris Joiner, Josh Bryan, Blaise Westberry, Devin Crews and Matthew Crews. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
