Lina Vanegas Gomez

Mrs. Lina Vanegas Gomez, age 52 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones, in Pearson, Ga. following a courageous battle with cancer.  

Survivors include:

Husband:  Manuel Martinez of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sons:  Higinio Martinez and wife Brenda Mendoza of Pearson, Ga.

              Juan Martinez of Pearson, Ga.

2 Daughters:  Dora Martinez of Pearson, Ga.

                       Hortencia Martinez and husband, Ruben Solis of Lancaster, S.C.

Sister:  Martina Vanegas and husband Damion Cabrera of Lancaster S.C.

Parents:  Martin Vanegas and Maria Del Carmen Gomez

2 Grandchildren:  Arya Ojeda and Fernanda Martinez

Many other brothers, sisters, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gomez were held Friday, December 04, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Gomez was held on Thursday, December 03, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
