Laverne W. Summerlin

Mrs. Laverne W. Summerlin, age 75, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.

Survivors Include

Husband: Hardy Summerlin of Pearson, Ga.

Daughter: Tammy Williams and husband Frederick of Douglas, Ga.

Brother: Kenny Williams and wife Rose of Douglas, Ga.

2 Half Brothers: Roy Nugent, Jr. of Savannah, Ga.

                          Jeffery Nugent of Savannah, Ga.

2 Sisters: Elaine Harn of Pooler, Ga.

                Sharon Bargeron of Meridian, Ga.

Granddaughter: Brandy Carroll and husband David of Fitzgerald, Ga.

4 Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Summerlin will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Sunnyside Freewill Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Teddy Burch and Rev. Mitchell Deems officiating. The internment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Mrs. Summerlin will lie in state on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Sunnyside Freewill Baptist Church.

Visitation for Mrs. Summerlin will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.
