Larry Delano Sutton

Mr. Larry Delano Sutton, age 67 of Axson, Ga., passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.

Mr. Sutton was born in Waycross, Ga. on October 23, l951, son of Clinton Sutton and Josephine Morgan Sutton. He had made his home in Atkinson County for most of his life and was a self-employed carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Sutton and a sister, Linda Sutton.

1 Son:  Mark Sutton and wife, Kim of Pearson, Ga.

1 Daughter:  Jody Batten and husband, Mark of Pearson, Ga.

2 Brothers:  Wayne Sutton and wife, Kathleen of Axson, Ga.

                   Billy Joe Sutton of Axson, Ga.

4 Grandchildren:  Kalynn Vaughn and husband Jordan, Jayla Heath, Korey Sutton, and Madilynn Webber.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Sutton were held, Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Axson Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. Special music included “Lead Me Home” and “You Can Let Go Now Daddy” presented by cd. The internment followed in the Axson Cemetery. 

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
