OBITUARY                                                                                   WILLIAM LARRY KIRKLAND   Mr. Larry Kirkland, age 71, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga. following a brief illness. A native of Stockton, Ga., Mr. Kirkland was born April 13, l948, son of Pleason and Gussie Boyd Kirkland. He had made his home in Pearson for most of his life and had worked at Roberts Milling Co. and Cady Bag Co. for many years before becoming disabled. He attended Ozias Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Harper Kirkland, 2 sisters, Mary Keene and Myrtice McCorvey and a grandson, Allen Hancock. Survivors include:  Son: Matthew Kirkland and wife Tammy of Pearson, Ga.   Daughter: Melissa Fish and husband Jeff of Salem, Or.   3 grandchildren and other relatives also survive.                              Memorialization is by cremation. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. is in charge of all the arrangements.
