Larry Delk, Sr.

Mr. Larry H. Delk, Sr., age 73 of Jacksonville, Fla. passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, following an extended illness. Mr. Delk was born September 4, 1946 in Coffee County, Ga.

Mr. Delk “Grandpa” is proceeded in death by his parents, Beecher and Grace Newmans Delk, one brother, Jerry and 2 sisters, Carol and Glenda.

Mr. Delk is survived by his wife of 32 years, Delane Vining Delk. Mr. Delk had 2 sons, Larry Delk, Jr. and Stephen Delk. Mr. Delk also had 5 bonus children, Richard White, Debbie Flatt, Tami Hayes, Sandy and Steve Crenshaw and 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, Nancy, Aerilyn and Charlotte.

Graveside services were held at the Willacoochee City Cemetery, McCranie Ave. Friday, November 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.
