Kenneth Paul Shaw

Mr. Kenneth P. Shaw, age 65 years old, of Douglas, Ga. passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  He was born in Fitzgerald, Ga., on April 8, 1958, son of Mr. & Mrs. Paul and Lois Mobley Shaw.  Mr. Ken worked with Evans Nursery and Plants and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a member of Willacoochee Christian Church and was preceded in death by his parents.  

Survivors include:

Wife:  Alisha Shaw of Douglas, Ga.

3 Daughters:  Kellyn Seymour of Pearson, Ga.

                        Ilynn Wade of Jacksonville, Fl.

                        Kara Taft and husband Mark of Douglas, Ga.

Sister:  Wanda Shaw of Douglas, Ga.

8 Grandchildren:  Jadalyn Shaw, Sara Seymour, Caleb Seymour, Colin Wade, Carson Wade, Corilyn Wade, Lily Taft,

and Trace Taft

Several other relatives also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Shaw were held Friday, October 6, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Walt Deloach and Mrs. Kay McCranie officiating.

Serving as active pallbearers were:  David Floyd, Carlton Hodges, Bobby Gaskins, Anthony Morris, Stanley Clement, John Higgs, Jim McCranie, and Al Wayne Hulsey.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
