Mrs. Jewell Dean Fender, age 81 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at her home in Pearson, Ga. following an extended illness. She was born in Kirkland, Ga. on January 7, 1943, daughter of Edward and Elzie Mancil Troupe. Mrs. Fender made her home in Pearson, where she was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her daughter, Elzie Murray and several siblings.
Survivors Include:
Many children, siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, along with many other relatives, also survive.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Fender were held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. Special musical selections included, "Dancing in the Sky", and "When I Get Where I'm Going" rendered by cd. The interment followed in Antioch Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were: Steve Marchman, Ashley Moore, Nick Wyers, Don Murray, Jr., Amanda Bryant, and Matthew Terrell.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were: Neil Marchman and Shane Marchman.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
