James Anthony Cribb

Mr. James Anthony Cribb, age 55 of Axson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Douglas, Ga. Mr. Cribb was born, September 29, 1963, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas “Buddy” Edward and Gladys Robinson Cribb. He worked several years as a custodian for the Atkinson County Board of Education, as well as in landscaping. He attended Ozias Freewill Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga. In his spare time, Mr. Cribb enjoyed building things and model cars. Along with his parents, Mr. Cribb was preceded in death by his son, Terry Ramer and granddaughter, Allyie Ramer.

Survivors include:

Wife:  Tammy Cribb of Axson, Ga.

2 Sons:  Troy Benefield and wife, Stephanie of Ocala, Fla.

             Robert Ramer and wife, Crystal of Pearson, Ga.

3 Brothers:  Eddie Cribb of Pearson, Ga.

                  Joe Cribb and wife, Connie of Douglas, Ga.

                  Greg Cribb and wife, Lucy of Douglas, Ga.

Sister:  Zoie Walsh and husband, Robert of Lake City, Fla.

9 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild and several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Cribb were held, Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Sweetwater Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Special musical selections included, “Jealous of the Angels” and “Thank You for Being My Dad” rendered by c.d.

Serving as active pallbearers were, Troy Benefield, Chace Benefield, Hunter Benefield, Fisher Benefield, Robert Ramer and Austin Holland.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
