Mr. Hayward Carter Cribb, age 75, of Willacoochee, Ga., passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Douglas, Ga. following a brief illness.

Survivors Include:

Daughter: Heather Fairley and husband Chris of Willacoochee, Ga.

2 Brothers: Wayne Cribb and wife Mary Lou of Willacoochee, Ga.

                     Terry Cribb and wife Sheila of Willacoochee, Ga.

3 Sisters: Lavonya Stone and husband Roy of Alapaha, Ga.

                  Ramona Langston of Crawfordville, Fl.

                  Nelda Flanders of Douglas, Ga.

Grandson: Joshua Carter Cribb of Willacoochee, Ga.

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Mr. Cribb is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Carter and Clara Belle Hayes Cribb, wife, Mildred Stone Cribb, son, Jayson Carter Cribb, and brother, Wendell Cribb.

Funeral services for Mr. Cribb will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Alapaha, Ga. with Rev. Michael Bennett and Rev. Kevin stone officiating. The interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Cribb will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church (3451 Coochee Creek Road Willacoochee, Ga. 31650)
