Mrs. Gladys Hardee Thompson, age 87, Jacksonville, Fl. passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Douglas Center in Jacksonville, Fl. following an extended illness.

Survivors Include

Son: David Thompson of Jacksonville, Fl.

2 Brothers: Roy Lee Hardee of Millwood, Ga.

                     Ronnie Hardee of Axson, Ga.

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her parents, Cullen Charles and Winnie Lee McKinnon Hardee, husband, Mark Thompson, Sr., 2 sons, Mark Thompson Jr, James Thompson, grandson, Mark Thompson III, sister, Louise Hardee Gilliard, and brother, Charles Hardee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Zion Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Millwood, Ga.. The interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Thompson will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Zion Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Millwood, Ga.
