George Thomas Guise

Mr. George Thomas Guise, age 72 years old of Pearson, Ga. passed away, Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Fla. He was born in Miami, Florida on April 21, 1951, the son of Clifford and Audrey Emerick White.  Mr. Guise came from New Jersey to south Ga. around 1999 to make his home here while working with the Atkinson Co. Board of Education, Maintenance Department.  After retirement, he enjoyed tinkering with old cars and trucks, listening to country music, and loved fishing and spending time with his dogs and loved ones. Mr. Guise was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and attended The Axson Church of God of Prophecy.  

Survivors include:

Wife:  Darlene Harris Guise of Pearson, Ga.

Brother:  Al Guise of Pearson, Ga.

Sister-In-Law:  Vivian Harris of Kenansville, N.C.

Beloved Dog: Fred

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Mr. Guise was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Audrey Emerick White.

Memorialization was by cremation.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
