Frank Gossage, beloved husband, father, Papaw, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 28th at the age of 86.
Born on June 17th, 1939, in Mill Spring, KY, he lived a life defined by hard work and devotion to his family. He loved taking all of his grandkids on vacations, making homemade ice cream, taking long golf cart rides, and going fishing. Throughout his life, Frank consistently worked. He served as an IBEW electrician for 47 years and then as a blueberry farmer for 20 more. He took great pride in providing for those he loved.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Carol; his three daughters and their families: Pamela and her husband, Michael Paulk, and her sons, Daniel Mar and Michael Mar; Sandra and her husband, Greg Dalrymple, and their children, Connor and Peyton Dalrymple; and Angela and her husband, Roe Hearn, along with their daughters, Alyssa and her husband, Zach Kaplan, Anna and her husband, Logan Owens, and Ashley Hearn. He is also survived by his beloved great-granddaughter, Lily Owens; his sister, Linda LaPann; and his niece, Georgette, and her husband, Will Purcell.
Though our hearts are heavy, we celebrate a life well lived and a man deeply loved. His legacy of love, hard work, and an affinity for buffets and blueberries will continue through all who knew him.
