Mr. Foster Franklin "Bo" Fender, age 80 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away, Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga.  He was born, July 10, 1941, in Waycross, Ga. to Aubrey Foster and Clara Fussell Fender.  Mr. Bo made his home in Pearson where he was a hard-working farmer who always took great pride in taking care of and providing for his family.  He enjoyed being outdoors, whether that be working in the fields, running equipment, clearing land and of course, fishing.  Mr. Bo was truly a larger-than-life personality and a one-of-a-kind person.  He never met a stranger and loved people, good stories, music and more importantly, he loved the Lord and as a trustee of Cornerstone Church, Mr. Bo was able to share his testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ along with his great love of family, as we were all his “Brothers and Sisters”.  He was a true landmark in our community for so many years, and a gentleman each and every time he crossed your path.  His influence through his faith, family, and friends, the last 80 years is immeasurable.  Mr. Bo was preceded in death, along with his parents, by his son, Jason Fender, and four sisters; Florence Morgan, Aubrey Lee Kirkland, Faye Vickers, and Marjorie Crosby.
