Ms. Elizabeth Ann Davis, age 72 of Axson, Ga. passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, following an extended illness.  She was born in Willacoochee, Ga. on May 15, 1949, to James Newman White and Arlene Allen.  Ms. Davis made her home in South Georgia where she was employed as a manager with Belk’s Department Store, until poor health caused her to retire early.  Even though her body was weak, her spirit was strong and could touch all those around her.  Ms. Davis had a love of fashion, arts, and crafts, cooking and music, but her happiest moments were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Ms. Davis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Pearson Ward, and was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her son, Jerry William Vickers, Jr.  Though she will be greatly missed, her example of pure Christ-like love will continue in the lives of her loved ones.
