Elba Hood Wilson

Mrs. Elba Hood Wilson, age 89, of Axson, Ga. passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.

Survivors include: 

2 Sons:  Jimmy Wilson and wife, Lynette of Bunnell, Fla.

             Gene Wilson and wife, Susan of Charlotte, N.C.

Daughter:  Charlene Mimbs of Axson, Ga.

2 Brothers:  Hyrum Lehi Hood of Waycross, Ga.

                  William Conard Johnson and wife, Lenza of Waycross, Ga.

2 Sisters:  Margaret Bennett of Millwood, Ga.

                Patricia Beale of Waycross, Ga.

7 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pearson, Ga.  The interment will follow in Utah Cemetery in Axson, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, family has asked that donations be made to a children's charity of your choice, in honor of Mrs. Elba Wilson.
