Dr. Gordon Boone

Dr. Gordon Boone, age 79, of Douglas, Ga., passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Lakeside Senior Living in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.

Survivors Include:

2 Sons: Mitchell Boone and wife Lindsey of Douglas, Ga.

                Brad Boone of Jacksonville, Fl.

Daughter: Arlena Dobbins and husband Kent of Jacksonville, Fl.

4 Grandchildren: Braydon Boone, Landon Smith, Lindsey Dobbins, and Lauren Gaul and husband Chris.

Dr. Boone was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Ruth Weathers Boone, wife, Luzy Deen Boone, 4 brothers, JD, Charlie, Bobby and Sydney Boone, and 2 sisters, Madge Haskins and Lelia Boone.

Funeral services for Dr. Boone will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. The interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery.

Visitation for Dr. Boone will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. prior to the service.
