Donna Mae Summerlin

Ms. Donna Mae Summerlin, age 78, of Douglas, Ga. passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026, at her home in Douglas, Ga.

Ms. Summerlin was born on August 28, 1948, to the late Ed and Dora Joyner Summerlin. Ms. Summerlin worked and retired from the Church of God of Prophecy Headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee. She formerly worked as a bookkeeper for the Douglas Housing Authority for many years. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Coffee Regional Medical Center for over 20 years and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of the Nicholls Church of God of Prophecy and enjoyed working in her flower beds, reading, shopping and loved her church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Buddy Summerlin and Mamie Lee Vining Summerlin, and sister, Helen Summerlin.

3 Nephews: Mack Summerlin and wife Sandra of Pearson, Ga.

                       Donald Summerlin and wife Charlene of Pearson, Ga.

                       Ronald Summerlin and wife Angela of Pearson, Ga.

Several great and great-great nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Summerlin were held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Rob Chavis officiating. Special music included “Amazing Grace” presented by cd. The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Active pallbearers included: Marcus Summerlin, Lee Lewis, Tim Lewis, Caleb Skipper, Ashley McKinnon, and Anthony McKinnon.

Honorary pallbearers included: Craig Morris and Dexter Tims

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
