Deborah "Debbie" Jean Harrell

Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Jean Harrell, age 66, of Axson, Ga., passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at her home in Axson, Ga.

Mrs. Harrell was born on October 31, 1959, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Rev. Jeff Floyd and Cora Jowers Floyd. Mrs. Harrell lived in Axson, Ga and was a Bookkeeper for Carson Lumber Company for 30 years and worked for DFCS for many years. She was a member of Goodwill Assembly of God Church and enjoyed cross stitching, taking care of her children and grandchildren, and loved being able to do for her family. Along with her parents, Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Gary Floyd, Glenn Floyd, and Russell Floyd, and sister, Donna Floyd.

Survivors Include:

Husband: Lewis Harrell of Axson, Ga.

2 Sons: Jeffery Harrell and wife Kayla of Douglas, Ga.

                Jeremy Harrell and wife Brittanie of Tifton, Ga.

2 Brothers: Julian Floyd and wife Evon of Pearson, Ga.

                      Ronnie Floyd and wife Donna of Nashville, Ga.

Sister: Elaine Floyd Akins and husband David of Nashville, Ga.

5 Grandchildren: Tyler, Kaylee, Isaac, Mallory, and Cora

Several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harrell were held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Goodwill Assembly of God in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Kevin Vickers and Sis. Elaine Keene officiating. Special music included “Go Rest High on That Mountain”, “Together in Heaven” and “I Can Only Imagine” performed by Chasity Davis, Roxann Hutchison, Bella Vickers, Joanna Alvarado, Christy Youngblood, and Abigail Hutchison. The interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Active pallbearers included: Kevin McDonald, Lewis Harrell, Jeffery Harrell, Jeremy Harrell, Tyler Harrell and Isaac Harrell.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
