Charlene Wilson Mimbs

Mrs. Charlene Wilson Mimbs, age 76 years old, of Axson, Ga. passed away at her home, on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  She was born in Nashville, Ga. on October 6, 1947, the daughter of Charles and Elba Hood Wilson.  Mrs. Mimbs made her home in Axson where she raised her family, as a homemaker and worked for many years with Pearson's Dollar General Store, as a clerk and cashier.  She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, Al Mimbs.

Survivors include:
 
2 Sons:  Randall Shane Emmens of Warner Robins, Ga.
              Michael Lane Emmens of Omaha, Neb.
 
2 Brothers:  Gene Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.
                    Jimmy Wilson of Bunnell, Fla.
 
6 Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives also survive.
 
Memorialization was by cremation.
 
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
