Mrs. Carolyn Ann Pittman Dawson, age 82, of Axson, Ga., passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at her home in Axson, Ga.

Son: Christopher Dawson (Amber) of Pearson, Ga.

3 Daughters: Linda Dawson of Axson, Ga.

                        Ann Odom of Axson, Ga.

                        Amy Tolle (Shannon) of Homerville, Ga.

Brother: D.Q. Pittman (Glenda) of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sisters: Shirley McKinnon of Pearson, Ga.

                   Vonita Davis (Jerome) of Axson, Ga.

Grandchildren: Jesse Pittman (Kaylan), Ashton Odom, Kara Crow, Emily Vaughn (Davey), Baylee Guess (Colby), Sadie Dawson, Harrison Dawson, and Josie Dawson.

Great Grandchildren: Oakley Pittman, Laikley Pittman, Moxley Pittman, Paxton Odom, Lucas Crow, Noah Crow, Jane Odom, Dawson Guess, Riley Guess, Emerson Vaughn, Cole Vaughn, Lainey Nell Vaughn

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Dawson is preceded in death by her parents, Dwight M. and Juanita Wilson Pittman, spouse, Neal Dawson, son, Allen Dawson, grandson, Alex Dawson Pittman, and 3 brothers, Doyland, Bobby, and Jimmy Pittman.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dawson will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Axson Evangelistic Church in Axson, Ga. with Rev. Billy Lowe and Mr. D.Q. Pittman officiating. The interment will follow at Axson Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Dawson will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Axson Evangelistic Church in Axson, Ga.
