Camilla Trammell Troupe

Mrs. Camilla Trammell Troupe, age 66 of Douglasville, Ga., formerly of Pearson, Ga., passed away, Monday, May 23, 2022, at Davita Dialysis Clinic in Powder Springs, Ga., following an extended illness.  She was born, October 12, 1955, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Thomas and Faye Harvey Trammell.  Mrs. Troupe made her home in Pearson, where she raised her family and was a homemaker.  For the last nine years, due to her declining health, she lived with family in Douglasville, Ga.  Mrs. Troupe enjoyed playing cards and celebrating the holidays while making memories with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, Grover Troupe; daughter, Ashley and two brothers; Tod and Teddy Trammell.

Survivors include:

Son:  Tim Troupe and wife, Allison of Carrollton, Ga.

Daughter:  Ruby Johnson and husband, Theodore of Eatonton, Ga.

Brother:  Tim Trammell and wife, Bonnie of Birmingham, Al.

2 Sisters:  Ginger Fantacone and husband, Louis of Douglasville, Ga.

                 Cindy Williams of Birmingham, Al.

 

4 Grandchildren:  Rebecca Anderson

                             Jamie Anderson

                             William Troupe

                              Charles Troupe

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins along with many other relatives also survive.

 

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Troupe were held, Friday, May 27, 2022, at Antioch Church Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with her brother-in-law, Mr. Lou Fantacone delivering the eulogy and message, along with her daughter in law, Allison giving the opening prayer and memories shared by Carrie Floyd.   Special musical selections included, “The Lord’s Prayer”, “I Can Only Imagine”, and “In the Sweet, Bye and Bye” all rendered by cd.  The interment followed in Antioch Cemetery.

 

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Kayley Sutton, Cork Sutton, Allison Troupe, Amanda Bryant, Carrie Floyd, and Misty Fender.

 

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
