Mr. Buck Charles Morris, age 88, of Douglas, Ga., passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his home in Douglas, Ga.
Mr. Morris was born on June 27, 1937, in Donaldsonville, La., to the late Charles Albert Babin and Nellie Romero Morris. He had lived in Douglas, Ga since 1993 where he worked as a painter and was a member of Freepoint Church. Mr. Morris enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents, Mr. Morris is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Morris, 1 daughter, Karen Dee Black, 3 sisters, Nona Herbert, Helen Short, and Diana Morris, and 2 brothers, Albert Babin and Martin Romero.

4 Daughters: Cynthia Moss and husband Jim of Jackson, La.
Rose Morris of Douglas, Ga.
Connie Akins and husband John of Waycross, Ga.
Teresa Mancil of Pearson, Ga.
Sister: Precilla Morris of Plaquemine, La.
17 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Graveside services for Mr. Morris were held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. at Red Bluff Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Burnam officiating. Special music included “I Can’t Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand)“ and “I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy“ performed by soloist Brian Beard. The interment followed at Red Bluff Cemetery.
Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
