Bradley Alan West

Bradley Alan West, known to many as Brad, passed away on February 16, 2024, in Pearson, GA, at the age of 53. Brad was a beloved brother, son, uncle, father and friend.

Brad was a fun-loving individual with a great sense of humor that would always bring laughter to those around him. He enjoyed various outdoor activities such as shrimping, fishing, boating, hunting, and cooking out. Brad worked as a heavy equipment operator and took pride in his work, especially in creating beautiful ponds and small lakes.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Mendez, her husband Bj, and three grandchildren of White Oak, GA. Brad is also survived by his father, Ronald West of Pearson, GA, two brothers, Mark West of Kingsland, GA, Glenn West of Pearson, GA, and two sisters, Rhonda Blanton of Wasilla, Alaska, and Dell Cartledge of Gulf Breeze, FL. He is also survived by nephews Daniel & Simon Howard, one great-nephew Ezra, nephew Jordan and niece Faith, and stepsons Jason and Clifton. Bonnie Stokes and his pet "doggy dog" . And many cousins and other friends. Brad was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline 'Connie' Smith West, and his mother Dutchie West.

A memorial service to honor and remember Brad's life is planned for a later date. The Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, GA, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.

Brad will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
