Bobbie L. Harrell

Mrs. Bobbie L. Harrell, age 82, of Axson, Ga., passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Lakeside Senior Living in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.

Mrs. Harrell was born on November 06, 1943, in New Orleans, L.A. to the late John Henry and Evelyn Burns, and Edith and Joe Williams. She lived in Brunswick, Ga. for 20 years before moving back to Pearson in the mid 1990’s where she worked as a beautician at Jeffery’s Salon. Mrs. Harrell was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, baking, reading and crossword puzzles. Along with her parents, Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Harrell, brother, James “Jimmy” Burns, and sister, Henry Lou Hewitt.

Survivors Include:

2 Sons: John Harrell of Nahunta, Ga.

                  Lewis Harrell and wife Debbie of Axson, Ga.

Daughter: Deborah Royals and husband Andy of Axson, Ga.

Brother: Louis Burns and wife Colleen of Marshon, N.M.

6 Grandchildren: Jeffery and wife Kayla, Jeremy Tifton and wife Brittanie, Christy Dubose and husband Williams, Jessica Hayes and husband Luke, Sabra Fussell and husband Alex, Bo Dockery and wife Kadie.

10 Great Grandchildren: Kaylee, Tyler, Issac, Cora, Bailey, Carrie, Macy, Caden, Carter, Davis.

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harrell were held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Bobby Fussell and Rev. William Pope officiating. Special music included “Because He Lives”, “How Great Thou Art”, and “Amazing Grace” presented by cd. The internment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Active pallbearers included: Jeffery Harrell, Jeremy Harrell, Lewis Harrell, John Harrell, Andy Royals, and Bo Dockery.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
