Mr. Billy Thomas “B.J.” Clement, age 44, of Douglas, Ga. passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 in Fitzgerald, Ga.
Mr. Clement was born May 17, 1976 in Jacksonville, Fl., son of Libby Wilcox Watson and Billy Clement. He had made his home in Atkinson County for most of his life and was a graduate of Atkinson County High School. He was employed in steel construction with Certified Energy Inc. and in his spare time liked to hunt and fish. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Mary Ellen and Buddy Wilcox, his Paternal Grandparents, Minnie and Lester Clement and brother, Jesse Clement.

Kaylon Clement of Waycross, Ga.
Hayden Clement of Waycross, Ga.
Daughter: Nicole Clement of Waycross, Ga.
Mother: Libby Watson and husband Ricky of Ray City, Ga.
Father: Billy Clement of Douglas, Ga.
Brother: Gabriel Clement Douglas, Ga.
Sister: Caleshia Paulk and husband Jeramy of Lakeland, Ga.
Sister-In-Law: Kristen Clement of Alma, Ga.
Stepbrother: Tony Watson of Lakeland, Ga.
Stepsister: Missy Mullican of Lakeland, Ga.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Clement were held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Sunnyside Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Jordan officiating. Special musical selections were “When I Get Where I’m Going”, “Who You’d Be Today” and “Simple Man” presented by CD. The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were, Shane Hersey, Stan Clement, Jeramy Paulk, Craig Gurley, Gabriel Clement and Manning Smith.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
