Barry Dewayne Harrell

Mr. Barry D. Harrell, age 53 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his home in Pearson, Ga.  He was born, November 21, 1969, in Clinch County, son of Mr. Buddy Whittington and Mrs. Bessie Lou Colley Harrell.  Barry made his home here in Pearson where he was a truck driver for many years and took great pride in raising and providing for his family.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking, spending time with family, friends, and especially making memories with his grandchildren.  Barry was a Christian man with a good heart who was always willing to help.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Harrell, grandson, Harper Harrell, 2 sisters, Rose McKinnon and Angel Gurley, and his biological father, Buddy Whittington.

Wife:  Mandy Harrell of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sons:  Jorgan Harrell of Callahan, Fl.

              Jeremy Harrell and wife Whitney of Pearson, Ga.

Father:  Bennie Harrell of Pearson, Ga.

3 Brothers:  Dink Whittington and wife Luanne of Pearson, Ga.

                    Rob Harrell and wife Traci of Nicholls, Ga.

                    Ben Harrell of Atlanta, Ga.

2 Sisters:  Rhonda Harrell of Ambrose, Ga.

                 Amanda Harrell Morris and husband Kelly of Pearson, Ga.

3 Grandchildren:  Christian Lopez, Chayden Harrell, and Cason Harrell

Several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many other relatives also survive.

Memorialization was by cremation.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Harrell will be announced at a later date.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
