Mrs. Arlene Douglas White, age 68, of Pearson, GA, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita, KS, following an extended illness from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). She was born in Atlanta, GA, on May 8, 1954, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parnell and Myrtle Douglas. Arlene married Gary White and lived in Pearson, GA, where they raised three sons. Arlene worked in the lab at Coffee Regional Medical Center and several other hospitals. She enjoyed sports, reading books, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gary White. Survivors include: Sons: Dr. Justin White and wife, Teresa of Newnan, GA Joshua White and wife, Samantha of Wichita, KS Ethan White of Pearson, GA Brother: Wayne Douglas and wife Lois of Raleigh, NC Sisters: Barbara Nugent of Pearson, GA Phyllis Mullis of Pearson, GA Renee Alexander and husband Jackie of Monroe, GA 7 Grandchildren: Wayne White Ty White Emma White Lilian White Rose White Sophia White Smoltz White Several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many other relatives Memorial services for Mrs. Arlene White will be held, Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (376 Pearson, St. Pearson, GA 31642). Visitation for Mrs. Arlene White will be held from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the memorial services at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (376 Pearson, St. Pearson, GA 31642).
