Mrs. Anna Giddens Boone, age 90 years old of Axson, Ga., passed away, Friday, March 15, 2024, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.  She was born in Ware County Georgia on June 21, 1933, the daughter of Roy W. and Sarah Crosby Mizell.  As the oldest of six, growing up, Mrs. Boone took on many roles and responsibilities that continued in her own family, as a homemaker.  She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and working in her yard and flowers.   Whether she was dancing, joking around, or just telling a story, Mrs. Boone always made sure a good time would be had by all!  She was definitely a “character” and “one in a million” to her loved ones.  Mrs. Boone was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her first husband, Lonnie Giddens, her second husband, J.D.
